Actually, on master it should depend on the LDR - only showing for serials. And
useControlNumber should only impact how the link is built (what you said). I
can't right now, but the XSLT should reveal it all. - Are they using standard
ones?

bug 15851 will change that, I think, but it will be 20.11 only as a new
feature.
