This is a very interesting concept, but completely non-standard and I would not
expect to see any adoption of it or even much use outside of you specific
needs. NCIP has pretty much supplanted SIP for this use case ( NISO is still
trying to figure out what to do with SIP & NCIP now that it controls both
specifications ).

I think this would be much better suited as an API plugin.
