OS: All
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P5 - low
Component: OPAC

Add target audience to the facets. Patrons have told us that they would like to
limit their searches to titles based on whether they are for adults, teens or
children.
The target audience is contained in the 008 tag in position 22. MARC breaks
down the audience more finely than just adults, teens and children (as shown
below) If it were possible to allow libraries to configure the facets so as to
combine several of the codes into a group, such as code 'a' and 'b', to be
displayed as 'children' that would be very useful to our patrons.
# - Unknown or not specified
a - Preschool Children, approximate ages 0-5 years.
b - Primary Children, approximate ages 6-8 years.
c - Pre-adolescent Young people, approximate ages 9-13.
d - Adolescent Young people, approximate ages 14-17.
e - Adult Item is intended for adults.
f - Specialized
g - General
j - Juvenile (Children and young people, approximate ages 0-15 years. The code
is used when a more specific code for the juvenile target audience is not
desired.
| - No attempt to code
