I think it would be great if there were 3 options

1. Add the status to the patron side
2. Not showing the claimed item to the patron at all
3. Leaving it as it is now (although someone could just but a space for the
OPAC description of the lost status maybe if they wanted it like it is now?)

We are already using the claimed return as it is. If 2 was an option we'd
probably do that though.
