I am willing to push as it, but few more comments:

1. Please fix the plural handling on a follow-up bug report (to be done for
21.05, only for 'en' is fine)

2. Maybe we should actually not use the digest template if there is only 1
items (but yes, it's the same behaviour as the other digest notices)

3. This script would have benefit *a lot* from having the code in a module,
covered by tests. Any additional enhancements to this file must take into
account this move.
