Yes, it certainly could, but if there were a supplied Pronoun field for the
patron to fill in, I think that's a step towards inclusiveness.  In my opinion,
it should be an optional field, but the fact that it would be there--a Pronoun
field to allow free text to be filled in, should the patron feel comfortable
and wish to share their pronouns with library staff--would be a statement about
inclusiveness and respect in the catalog design.
