[Koha-de] Server migration ubuntu LTS 14.04 "trusty"-> debian 9.5 "stretch"

Hallo Herr Hartl,

ist es möglich die laufende Instanz auf dem Ubuntu noch auf eine aktuelle Version (mind. 17.05) upzugraden? 
Danach würde ich dann mit den u.g. Tools eine Testmigration auf dem neuen System (dann auch noch mit 17.05) durchführen.
Nach erfolgreicher Migration kann das System ja auf einen anderen Versionsstand upgegraded werden.

Hallo, 

ich möchte unser Koha 16.11 vom bisherigen ubuntu-server mit LTS 14.04 "trusty" auf einen neuen Server migrieren. 

Ich meine verstanden zu haben, dass ein Debian-server mehr im Koha-mainstream der Entwickler wäre, daher die Wahl von Debian 9.5 "stretch" für den neuen Server. 

Als Migrationswerkzeug habe ich (neben viel offenbar veralteten Informationen) folgendes gefunden und schon habe ich Fragen: 



Search, beginning with [ https://koha-community.org/ | https://koha-community.org/ ] 

[ https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Backing_up_Koha | https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Backing_up_Koha ] 

# directs to debian commands 

# koha-dump (Dump all contents and configs for a Koha site right now.) and 

# koha-restore (Restore a Koha site from a dump (from koha-dump). Before restoring an instance you should koha-remove it first.) 

# There is no information about limitations of above commands. 

# is koha-restore able (designed) to restore a backup created with an older version? 

# is koha-restore able (designed) to restore a backup ceated on a different server? 

# are there required post-restore activities? 

# if desired information is missing in the wiki – is this a bug to report in bugzilla? 

# The man-pages for above commands are not providing answers to these questions. 

# There is no information as to which (Debian/Ubuntu/Koha) versions these commands apply. 

# There is no match in the wiki for server migration
