[Koha-devel] cardnumber too short?

It seems that a lot of library cards use 14 digit numbers. I suspect 
this is because some bar code scanners only support 16. At the moment, 
koha supports 9-character card numbers. Can we make it support 14? Do 
I just need to update the database?
