I thought I subscribed to the Atom feed from git, but have never
gotten a single item in it, so I guess my experience has been even
worse than yours!

Now that I look at the RSS feed, it works better than the Atom one,
but I still don't see that particular commit in it. it was about 85
commits ago, so I don't think it will be in there anymore, though.
