Hi Tomas

I chatted with you about this on irc, but just for the record, things
like this should be based off master and set as a patch for master.
Then Chris Nighswonger can decide if he wants to cherry-pick it back
to 3.2.x

That way we never end up with a feature in 3.2.x that isn't in 3.4.x
