[Koha-devel] bugzilla old entries

I'm all for closing bugs that no longer apply, either because they've been
patched, or the code has evolved beyond them.

Closing bug reports just because they're old or not recently updated doesn't
seem right to me.  Bug 2389, for example, seems like it's still relevant,
even though no work has been done on it in a while.

Are we just trying to get the number of 'open' reports down?  Or to make
some of the other canned searches return more relevant results?

I think we should certainly go through the 'very old' list, and mark those
that are invalid as invalid, and those that are resolved as resolved.
Genuine, still-current problems should have their version updated at the
very least (a more detailed entry, patch or test plan would always be
welcome).
