I agree with Fridolyn -- since the intent of the enhancement appears to 
be providing a way to specify item field values, I would prefer that the 
syspref accept item column names rather than a subfield derived from the 
MARC mapping.  Doing this would also simplify the change required in 
finishreceive.pl.

Also, the syspref name 'AcqItemStatusWhenReceived' is very specific; if 
that's *all* it is supposed to do, why not simply have it take the 
desired status value.  If it's meant to be able to set default values 
for other item fields, I think the syspref should be renamed to 
something a little more general.
