This one is dated July 2010, so I'm not sure which version it refers to 
(just "master".) I have never noticed the described behaviour in 3.6.x or 
3.8.x, so maybe it's no longer "relevant"?

Ditto: 2008 ==> 2010, no version mentioned, described behaviour not 
apparent in 3.6.x or 3.8.x
