This patch would allow for that scenario, Paul.

“not-logged-in” users don’t have a Patron Category, so whatever is hidden by OpacHiddenItems stays hidden. By setting PatronSingleBranch to PT (assuming that is your patron code), then anything hidden from the public would be visible for a logged in person. Or perhaps you are a consortium of branches and every branches hidden items would be visible to any patron from any branch using PatronEveryBranch set to PT would allow for any OpacHiddenItem to become visible once your patrons log in. However, PatronSingleBranch set to PT would only show the hidden items from the patron’s assigned branch. By creating other patron categories, you can fine tune the visibility based on the user’s home branch or everything.
