Tomas this is awesome, thank you. I expect we'll be able to review this 
tomorrow morning (AEST).

This is not my area, but the Identity Provider we are working with 
towards account provisioning drew my attention to a new standard from 
IETF . Apparently SCIM2 is now complete and is the relevant standard for 
this type of thing. There is full information here:

Have we heard of this and is it relevant to the work on bug 16330
