[Koha-devel] Does anyone use "Item circulation alerts"?

>From our clients in the Indian subcontinent i can certainly vouch that the
functionality *is used* quite frequently because for certain "holy cow"
patron categories / patrons the librarians do not want to attract their ire
by "how dare you tell me I've an overdue item" email.  Not an welcome
scenario, but its a reality in societies stuck somewhere between feudalism
and capitalism.

Removing that feature may result in a large number of Indian users leaving
koha for non standard local software.

Just my 2p.
