I think having the manual in different formats like PDF, ePub (my
favourite) and mobi is an excellent idea. I even dabbled a little in
this a couple of years back:

The PDF at http://es.koha-community.org/manual/master/publican/en/pdf/Koha-3.16-Koha_Manual-en.pdf
looks mostly good, but there does seem to be an issue with the images,
they are not scaled to fit the page but "bleed" into nothingness on
the right side of the page.
