From david.nind at gmail.com Thu Sep 5 11:59:01 2019 From: david.nind at gmail.com (David Nind) Date: Thu, 5 Sep 2019 21:59:01 +1200 Subject: [Koha-docs] Documentation meeting deferred a week Message-ID: I've decided to defer the today's meeting (5 September 13:00 UTC) for a week. Apologies everyone for doing this with such late notice... So the next meeting will be 12 September 2019 13:00 UTC. I've updated the agenda (and hopefully I will have made some more progress on my myriad of tasks by then as well!) The wiki page is https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Documentation_IRC_meeting_Template We can change anything except the placeholders which look like "___SOMETHING___". Here are my suggestions, feel free to take them as is, discuss them, modify them or ignore them :) - Add a "Review of action points" topic after "Introductions" and before "What's been done so far". Martin said it could be possible to parse the last meeting's minutes to get the #action points and add them automatically, but it would require developments in the script. We both thought that was a good idea and I think he was willing to do it. - Remove the "Workflows" topic, maybe replace with "Style guide" or "Content development guidelines" - Review the "Next steps" sub-topics, remove the framapad todo list, add a link to Taiga, add a sub-topic called "priorities" (so that our DM can direct us to the most important points to cover) I volunteer to make the changes to the wiki page, I just wanted to make sure it was what everybody wanted too. (I didn't even know there there was a meeting template, I have to date just copied and updated the previous meeting's agenda. I'm always learning something new!). I've jumped in an updated the template with the suggested changes. If it is possible to add the #actions that would be great. As Martin is super busy, I'm happy to continue manually adding open actions. For the script, I assume this is something Martin needs to run and that it: 1) Adds the draft agenda for the next meeting 2) Updates the Koha Community calendar Does this also update the Next IRC meetings page and update the current agenda with links to the minutes and next meeting? The script reads the minutes, grabs the 'next meeting' date and creates the new page using the template. It then goes to the last meeting page and r places the placeholder to link in the minutes and next meeting links and also updates the next meetings page and the calendar. I can't take much credit, Joubu wrote it sometime ago and I've just jumped on board to help run it in his absence. It often needs minor tweaks to parse things correctly out of the minutes... It's amazing how many different ways we all write the date of next meeting. Anywho, I'll take a quick look at parsing out action points.. that would be helpful for all meeting types I think.
