Thanks, Moyra, or whoever organized all this for us. You asked that we write a brief introduction on ourselves for the list:

I am Siobhan Foster. Library Manager for three theological libraries run by two different international Catholic religious orders of priests.
1. The Redemptorists, who have two libraries, the main one at Kew and, 
2.  a specialised library on Social Justice in Box Hill on the Yarra Theological Union campus. YTU is a theological college, founded in 1971 by several orders of priests to train their members. It is associated with the MCD University of Divinity, formerly the Melbourne College of Divinity.
3. The Divine Word Missionaries library, also on the campus of YTU.

We have been using Koha since the end of 2010. We use the Sydney based Calyx (www.calyx.net.au) as our support system.

Koha has enabled us to download data onto the MCD theological data base called MCDcat and provides a cost effective data system for our libraries. 

I welcome the initiation of a Koha Users Group in Melbourne.
