Hi Owen,

I've pushed this patch, but during testing I found that adding the
HTML escaping to MARCdetail.tmpl, while on the whole a necessary
improvement, does break clickable hyperlinks from fields such as the
MARC21 856$u.  I've opened bug 2596 for the regression.
