This won't work reliably - a patron who is logged into the OPAC will
not in general have valid credentials or a valid session to pull stuff
from the staff interface.  It is necessary to copy the patron image
service to the OPAC - the pending patches for the web-based self
checkout enhancements include an example of how to do this.
