The breeding farm is a repository for "incomplete" MARC records that you
have downloaded to Koha using either the Z39.50 search or the
import-to-breeding-farm function.  The records are incomplete because they
(of course) do not have any of your local holdings information attached. 
You can call records up from the repository through the cataloging
interface and add the holdings information, then save the newly completed
MARC record to your regular Koha database.

Or were you looking for more specific information (where they're stored,
which scripts act on the breeding farm, etc.)?
