You have to find out where this complex string comes from. This can be
tricky. This string has a comment:

#. %1$s: errorloo.barcode
#. %2$s: IF ( errorloo.ERR_BARCODE )
#. %3$s: END
#. %4$s: IF ( errorloo.ERR_WTHDRAWN )
#. %5$s: END
#. %6$s: IF ( errorloo.ERR_ONLOAN_RET )
#. %7$s: END
#. %8$s: IF ( errorloo.ERR_ONLOAN_NOT_RET )
#. %9$s: END
#: intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/tools/inventory.tt:46
#, c-format

So if you want to contextualize the string, and understand exactly what
it means, you have to go back to the template inventory.tt. On your
installation of koha, open inventory.tt file and see what you have
around line 46.

So for now, Koha translators have to understand HTML a little bit to do
properly their job...
