I'm sure something like this exists under CentOS or RedHat. Sorry that I can't help beyond those suggestions. Now, I was thinking that since you just recently went through the hassle of doing this that perhaps you write down the steps you took (including how you got the daemon equivalent, etc.) to do an install of Koha on CentOS. Of course, this would probably be better suited to a different mailing list, or if you can somehow get registered with the Wiki, you could try updating the CentOS page so it better reflects your installation process, problems, and solutions. And don't forget the -a. ;) > tail: /tmp/b: file truncated Did you notice this in your cron job output? Also, is the cron tab entry all one line, the redirection carries over a line. I hope this is your email client reformatting poorly and not your cron tab editor thinking itself smart. Or worse, somehow the redirection is passed as a parameter to the script. Next, every minute?! I've been using -b -a -r every hour on the 20's, while we are doing data entry, so they can search for it. Did you even run -b -a -r at least once? Once data entry slows down, it will probably only be run daily. I don't know why the -r is necessary for our index to work. There is a -z option which is better suited for every minute. You have this in the regular cron jobs, which should be okay. Usually the install for this segment goes in /etc/cron.d/koha. That last part looks like a directory listing gone bad. I can't think of anything else. Hope some of this helps some how. I suspect that /etc/koha/zebradb/etc/default.idx is the one it is looking for. The one's in /home directories are part of a package install, you may need to edit them before putting them into the /etc/koha/zebradb/etc directory. And clearly, the first one is related to the apt-get install of idzebra-2.0 I did on my Ubuntu 10.04 LTS system. Hope this helps you and perhaps others. There were four errors to correct, a missing file and couple of permissions to change. . .enough stuff that we can't remember the details exactly. But searches are working now! We still need to set up the chron job, etc. but the important thing is that a search produces results. Thank you to everyone on the forum and the emails we received. You pointed us in the right direction! -- View this message in context: http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/default-idx-no-such-file-tp5716932p5717457.html Sent from the Koha-zebra mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
