[Koha-acquisitions] Importing and comparing temp records to records in system

Hello,

We had this same issue back in 2018, but our library ended up making a MARC modification template that stripped out ISBNs from all eBook records to stop the overlaying issue.

When we started using the cloudLibrary plugin, we did notice that the cloudLibrary ISBNs were “invisible” to the Record Matching Rules though.

We don’t use the Overdrive Integration feature so I can’t say if those records would function the same as cloudLibrary’s “invisible” records.

Hi folks,

We download temp records using a template into our catalog from Ingram.  The system uses a matching rule the looks at the 020|a. What has been happening is that our print records are being added to an ebook record.  The 020 for the ebook record is there but is in the |z field so it looks like KOHA is not looking at the subfiled for the match.  Trying to figure if this is a bug.  Does anyone else use this procedure to add temps to the catalog?
