I've tried adding this to IntranetUserJS but the search term is not erased. 
This is in Koha 20.05.18.  I've tried both Brave Browser and Firefox.  The
Firefox inspector shows that the code for the event is attached to the entry
field, but for some reason the code doesn't seem to be running.

My librarian is pretty upset about this problem.  It interferes with our
workflow for checking the status of a stack of books.
