One last note: How can we best document the new CACHING_SYSTEM=fastmmap?

I'm thinking that on this stage it may be better to leave it as is (ie., as undocumented feature, for those who are willing to test / use it in purely experimental way) - it's not clear if it is efficient enough to be worth a trouble (proverbial jury is still out on this one), and it seems to have some not yet fully evaluated potential issues (e.g., apparently it is not thread-safe). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
