I guess I was expecting the covers (if they exist) to display. When you click (or touch on a touch screen) an item it will pop up with the details. You can then continue paging through.
Cool it looks right to me! So you first see a wall of covers, when you click on one it shows that record in a 'shelf' view, with one or two covers on either side of the clicked on, plus some info about items.
