I don't know how easy it would be to implement, but shouldn't we instead offer an option to specify one of the existing phone numbers (primary, secondary, other) as the SMS alert number?
Could this be combined with Bug 11879?
maybe a drop down... along the lines of SMS Alert Number [ [ Use Primary ] ] [ Use Secondary ] [ Use Other ] [ Enter SMS Number | | ] ? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.
