https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39309 Bug ID: 39309 Summary: Improve ConsiderLibraryHoursInCirculation handling of hourly loans when library closes past midnight Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs@lists.koha-community.org Reporter: heather@bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia@bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt@gmail.com, kyle.m.hall@gmail.com Created attachment 179176 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=179176&action=edit Screenshot of checkout confirmation message Some libraries using hourly loans have closing times past midnight, such as 1am. When ConsiderLibraryHoursInCirculation is being used and a library has a closing time past midnight, a checkout confirmation message appears (see screenshot) and provides the option for a due date to be specified, as if it is not allowed by circulation rules (even if allowed). To Test: 1. In Administration > Libraries, set library hours in such a way that the closing time is past midnight (ex: 1am) 2. Set ConsiderLibraryHoursInCirculation system preference to "shorten the loan period and set the checkout to be due at the library's close time". 3. Confirm that a circulation rule for the patron category/item type exists in Administration > Circulation and fine rules 4. Navigate to a patron account and check out an item with an hourly loan period - note the checkout confirmation message that appears -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
