i agree, although i think it would be easier to provide different "pre-defined" color-schemes (and the dark mode) for the staff interface, from which the libraries can choose from later, so it doesn't get too complicated for the staff in the libraries
We have a lot of partners who want to do more customization and currently use a combo of custom css and js to customize.
