I'm writing up the documentation for this and don't see any explanation of how the 'feed' is supposed to work. I know how to document all other new values, but what is 'feed' and how do I access it?

Hello Nicole, The feed entry was not introduced by this patch. The entry in the message_transport_types seems to be there for a long time. I think it is (was?) used to generated RSS feeds.
