This request is pretty old now, but I'm taking it on in my quest to join the Documentation team's efforts. Being a system administrator myself in my regular work, I'm familiar with the content. I think that general guidance for Perl scripts would have a place in the Koha Manual, in the section called 'Cron jobs and daemons': https://koha-community.org/manual/latest/en/html/cron_jobs.html#cron-jobs-an.... This whole section could be refined to better fit how Koha is typically installed and used these days. My thoughts include: - renaming the section 'Scripts, cron jobs, and daemons' - clarifying the ad-hoc and scheduled usage of Perl scripts, that is, through the 'koha-perl' command and in cron jobs - making all references in that section consistent Would that satisfy the original request? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
