http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=11565 Bug ID: 11565 Summary: decreaseLoanHighHolds needs Override Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs@lists.koha-community.org Reporter: cbrannon@cdalibrary.org QA Contact: testopia@bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt@gmail.com, kyle.m.hall@gmail.com When checking out to someone that is homebound or in a limited access area (such as a bookmobile that comes through once a month), it is necessary to set a fixed loan period. There needs to be a way to override this feature on the fly. It might be worth having a rule under Circulation and Fine Rules to specify an item type or patron category that ignores this preference, but it is still necessary to be able to override on the fly. I would envision an option on the warning box that allows you to continue to check out at the normal (or specified) due date, if you have a permission set for your account.
