http://bugs.koha.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1343 Summary: Z3950 error log messages are confusing/unclear Product: Koha Version: branch 2.2 Platform: PC OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: z39.50 Server AssignedTo: jmf@kados.org ReportedBy: dalgity@htl.net QAContact: koha-bugs@nongnu.org Error messages like: something went wrong: No error at /var/www/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/z3950/search.pl line 138. are very confusing, unclear and contradictory. As a minimum it should be changed to something like: Connection to <SERVER>: No error at /var/www/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/z3950/search.pl line 138. A little more status feedback would be useful too. Not just more log messages but error messages from key points in the process would be nice. I had a number of 500 Internal Server Errors to track down (still have one to find) and improved log messages would have made it much easier/quicker. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact.
