I think that we should probably treat rabbitmq setup the same way we treat mysql installation; that is, as a separate step.
To that end, I think that we should "suggest" rather than "require" rabbitmq-server in the debian/control file. When running koha-testing-docker, we'll have a separate container for rabbitmq. We won't have it installed locally. Production deployments may also have a 2+ instance RabbitMQ cluster (using either round robin DNS or a load balancer or both). Those won't be local to the Koha server(s) either. So Koha can only interact with RabbitMQ over a network. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
