https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43775 Bug ID: 43775 Summary: Koha/SuggestionEngine.pm uses incorrect bitwise OR Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching Assignee: koha-bugs@lists.koha-community.org Reporter: dcook@prosentient.com.au QA Contact: testopia@bugs.koha-community.org Target Milestone: --- Do you ever see the following in your plack-error.log file? Use of strings with code points over 0xFF as arguments to bitwise or (|) operator is not allowed at /usr/share/koha/lib/Koha/SuggestionEngine.pm line 153. Well, that's because we're using the wrong operator in the following line: $suggestions{ $suggestion->{'search'} }->{'label'} |= $suggestion->{'label'}; I suspect the author meant to use ||= but accidentally added |=. Looks like it was added by Jared in 2012. I'm surprised he'd make a typo like that, but we all make mistakes... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
