https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=23332 Bug ID: 23332 Summary: Debian package koha-common 18.05.14-1 has a dependency on libperl5.24 which is not available for Ubuntu Bionic 18.04 Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 18.05 Hardware: All OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: critical Priority: P5 - low Component: Packaging Assignee: koha-bugs@lists.koha-community.org Reporter: ian.gordon@strath.ac.uk QA Contact: testopia@bugs.koha-community.org CC: mirko@abunchofthings.net I am trying to upgrade koha using the debian package koha-common 18.05.14-1 package on Ubuntu 18.04. I get the following error: The following packages have unmet dependencies. koha-common : Depends: libperl5.24 but it is not installable Depends: perl-modules-5.24 but it is not installable E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages. Ubuntu Bionic uses libperl5.26. The previous version of the package koha-common 18.05.13-1 did not have this dependency on libperl5.24 (I also note that the current 19.05.01-1 package does NOT have a dependency on libperl5.24 and therefore installs fine) Is there anything that can be done to fix this?
