From our perspective Davids patch is the logical way it should function. Don't do anything until it's time to renew.

However it does change the behaviour and I guess some libraries might like to keep sending early notices if no further renewal will be possible. Perhaps it's possible to control it with a command line option (eg '--early-notice') to skip the no-renwal-before check?(with the risk of asking for a more complex solution) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
