https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43352 Bug ID: 43352 Summary: Optionally analyze all reports at creation and update and block saving of reports with warnings Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Reports Assignee: koha-bugs@lists.koha-community.org Reporter: andrew@bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia@bugs.koha-community.org CC: lisette@bywatersolutions.com Depends on: 42585 Target Milestone: --- Bug 42585 adds a tool for analyzing reports for potential danger due to malformed or resource-intensive queries. It would be good to have the option to always analyze reports when they are created or edited. We could block the user from saving when the analysis uncovers issues (unless the user has permission to override that block). But it might make more sense to allow the report to save with some sort of "has issues" flag and then prevent users from running it? That'd make it easier to revise a report to address the issues.
