Since Bug 43457 has come up I wanted to comment here that it looks to me from https://www.loc.gov/standards/valuelist/rdacarrier.html that we should be using the "MARC codes for RDA terms - 338 $b" two-letter code in authorised_values.authorised_value and the human-readable "RDA carrier terms - 338 $a" in authorised_values.lib.

Does that make sense?
