If a patron places a hold in the OPAC, it would be nice that a hold slip is auto printed. Another option would be to add an optional notification in the staff interface home screen that says something like "pending holds" with a print button to print the hold slips. "Pending holds" would have to be updated in real time to provide ultimate functionality.
