The thesaurus linked to a field in bibliographic tells Koha that the field is authority controlled.
I am suggesting to change the configuration for the fields (100, 110, 111, 700, 710, 711) you don't want to use authorities with. The label for the setting you need to change is "Thesaurus". It contains the authority type it's linked to. If you remove that, the fields will be just clear text like other fields.
Putting more control over usage of Authorities dosenthave realationship with thesaurus. Theres 3 levels of control the first is no control, the second is light control that will block $9 with thesaurus and the third is stric that will block all the zone with thesaurus. But without a thesaurus it will still apply a link with the authorities and create one. So i still have an authority created. And i dont want any authoirities to be created for authors. But i want the possibility of creating a authority directly for subjects and evantually pass to strict control. For taht i need to change parameters but those parameters apply on subjects and authors which I dont want. So that why i'm suggesting that there's a division, in the paramerters of authorities control, between authors and subject. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
