I have retested with the new QA patch on top of my patch. I believe I have exercised all new code paths and directory fallbacks my manipulating various file/directory permissions to force the use and failure of fallback options. Adding and removing zebra_lockdir from koha-conf.xml also tested. Works with and without this entry. Adhoc wait-for-lock also tested again and works as intended.
