I just confirmed that you can save a numbering pattern in a production 20.11 (package installation) without adding a description. Possibly due to DBMS configuration (non-strict?).

I missed this. So maybe remove it directly from here if in non-strict mode you can avoid the DB error. Then after that no need to adjust patch depending on bug 31297. Will attach updated patch soon. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
