https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42383 --- Comment #131 from Tomás Cohen Arazi (tcohen) <tomascohen@gmail.com> --- Created attachment 209791 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=209791&action=edit Bug 42383: (QA follow-up) Add Cypress tests for the check-in page This patch adds end-to-end Cypress tests for the Vue check-in page (circ/checkin.pl), addressing point 9 of the QA comment. The data is created in the database using the Cypress tasks, the page is driven like staff would do it, and the outcome is verified in the database. The tests cover: - Checking in a checked out item: the row is displayed with the barcode and title, and the checkout is moved to old_issues - An unknown barcode displays an error - The barcode URL parameter prefills the input but does not check the item in - The item type check-in message is displayed as text, not HTML - A withdrawn item is not checked in with BlockReturnOfWithdrawnItems - Holds: confirming a hold for the logged in library sets it waiting, confirming a hold for another library puts it in transit with a transfer, and a waiting hold can be cancelled from the hold modal - Transfers: confirming the return to the home library sends the transfer, and TransfersBlockCirc blocks the barcode input meanwhile - Recalls: confirming a recall sets it waiting - Module policy: when the server refuses a return date because SpecifyReturnDate was disabled after the page was loaded, the page applies the policy returned in the error, tells why and no longer offers the return date The system preferences used are set by each test, and restored to their original values afterwards. All the created data is removed. Test plan: 1. Apply this patch 2. Run: $ ktd --shell k$ yarn cypress run --spec t/cypress/integration/Circulation/Checkin_spec.ts => SUCCESS: Tests pass! 3.
