As I mentioned in Comment 36, I have split the patch into multiple patches in order to better check which bugs have been "reverted", and how they have been reverted. Once PQA I'll squash everything.
So I don't think "reverted" is the right word to use here, and why would you squash everything only after PQA? Maybe you're referring to backports? I wouldn't worry about that. Just develop against main, and then the maintainers can ask for anything they need on a branch-specific basis. Also, remember that we don't do "Tidy" commits anymore. Your commits should already be tidied. You'll nee do fix that before this can be PQA.
There is an issue that I was pretty sure I had fixed with the name of some commits, which are 33737 and 33737
