I was wondering how to store a .pdf which can be downloaded by users remotely.
Do I need to store it somewhere within the Koha folders, if yes which directory, please? How it's url can be defined if pdf is stored the same server which Koha is installed on.
Any example script should be a great help.
Your title mentions a very old Koha version (3.16). This version is not supported anymore for a long time. Koha allows you to upload files with the Tools/Upload feature. It is possible to connect this upload feature to field 856$u. Please check the documentation about it.
