This has proven to be confusing for our branch staff, and ideally this would be something that could be opted in or out of. A potential use case is that a branch staff member may run an item search of all items in a shelf location, select several, and export a list of those items for someone to pull from the shelf. The branch staff member then does another item search with different criteria, then batch edits them to mark them missing.
