Pedro, thanks for being so generous about your patches. If that works for you, our plan is to start with the three blockers, fixing them on the current branch first. For the Zebra one, we'll do both of the suggested fixes, the second is usefull in case an installation switches from Elasticsearch to Zebra and has saved searches or URLs. We'll also include two of the important points, as they're simple to fix and affect data integrity and visibility: failing closed when a plugin dies, and wrapping the index_records calls and Library::store in try/catch. Martin, once that's done we'll put a split proposal based on your suggestions. Since you have much more experience with this, we'd really appreciate it if you could review it before we file the bugs.
